Your Best Investment Opportunity in Guanacaste… Ten Minutes from Costa Rica’s Best Beaches… 48 Minutes from the Airport…
Welcome to The Oaks, Tamarindo
An exclusive gated community only ten minutes from Tamarindo, Flamingo and Playa Grande, in the heart of Guanacaste’s Gold Coast. Under construction since December 2006, The Oaks features spacious 2 bedroom condominium units built with exquisite attention to detail. Personally tour top quality construction that you can see and touch, surrounded by native oaks, over 70% of which have been carefully preserved, a rarity in this zone.
The Oaks is located within a 31 acre community on gently rising land with panoramic vistas. It includes a lake, biological corridors, a butterfly reserve, a hummingbird sanctuary and tropical orchid gardens. The Oaks also is close to Costa Rica’s best beaches, golf, surfing and fishing, plus Tamarindo’s active night life and amenities.
We invite you to see for yourself. Our first two phases are now complete. Last-minute rentals are still available for the peak season. We are now offering reservation deposits on phase three, spacious Villas and Town Homes at The Oaks, which offer roughly three times the space of our condominium units at only twice the price.
Take advantage while you can of this unique opportunity to enjoy Costa Rica's beauty for under $225,000.
The Location Of The Oaks Tamarindo
The Oaks Tamarindo is ideally located in La Josefina, five miles from Tamarindo and less than ten miles from Playa Grande, Playa Conchal, Brasilito and Flamingo.
The Oaks Design
The Oaks offers two bedroom/two bath units with over 980 square feet of total construction area and almost 900 square feet of living area. Each unit has a private covered parking space.
Each unit enjoys high 9 feet 4 inch ceilings, with soaring cathedral ceilings and attic storage with third floor units. Third floor units also enjoy a semi-private outdoor patio area, technically a part of the common elements and therefore not artificially expanding the unit’s size.
Because each unit is located on one level, the units use space to maximum effect. The two bedrooms are of virtually identical size, ideal for renting or sharing with another couple. The large bath attached to the second bedroom has a special privacy door for the toilet area, functioning as a bath and a half. Ground floor units have a private garden, technically a part of the common elements.
Because we have observed various and inconsistent methods of calculating the number of square feet or square meters within a condominium unit in Costa Rica, we show you our floor plan measured in the three most common ways: from interior wall to interior wall, mid-wall to mid-wall, and outside wall to outside wall. Actual measurements may vary slightly during construction. We will adjust your purchase price on a dollar per square foot basis in the event of a variance of 2% or more from plan to construction.
Roof structure enclosed in galvanized iron and covered with traditional colonial tiles
Double-paned aluminum windows for heat and noise protection
Iron handrails
Privacy gardens surrounding most ground floor units
Floors
White porcellanato PEI4 ceramic floors.
Porcellanato is a word of Italian origin that is associated with tile that possesses a high degree of toughness and durability. Porcellanato is classified ISO 13006, indicating material compressed to an absorption level less than or equal to 0.5%. It is obtained from base materials of great strength, and then submitted to a heat and pressure treatment greater than that utilized for the production of conventional ceramic tiles. Porcellanato type PEI resists abrasion and scratching. Porcellanato type PEI4 is more scratch-resistant than conventional ceramic tile of the same PEI. It is also heat-resistant, friction-resistant and resists expansion as a result of flooding.
