Short property history:
The owner lived in Costa Rica for seven years, before having to move back to the states for work. He began working on this property in the year 2000. He bought a 4,000 square meter mountain top with some of the greatest views in all of the central valley. He could see a dream of splitting it into three and by building on one and selling off the two remaining. As an alternative, he also had dreams of building a full Natural Health Clinic on the entire piece.
The original property was its own mountain top covered with coffee when he first bought it. He removed the coffee and built an 18 foot high volcanic rock retainer wall around the entire front of the property after leveling it, and then separated the property legally into three parcels. Then, 80 dump trucks of back fill were used to fill in behind the retaining wall. There was also a 2-car garage built with a 7 foot storage area above; this was on the first separated parcel. The garage is engineered for two stories above. The wall was also engineered to with stand all weather events. A back retainer wall and smaller walls were built to separate each parcel, with a Rod Iron put up on the back wall.
All three parcels have fantastic views of the Central Valley.
To the right can be seen Atenas and Sarchi, and out front is Grecia and the airport.
Escazu is across the valley and San Jose is to the left.
